We are seeking your input about local food production and food resilience in Darebin.
The impacts of climate change pose a significant threat to Darebin’s food security. Droughts, bushfires and extreme weather events are already endangering food production and supply, resulting in increased food prices and vulnerable and unstable food availability.
As part of our Climate Emergency Plan 2017-21, Darebin Council is committed to working with the community to create more sustainable and resilient food systems and are developing our Sustainable Food Program for 2021-22, which will set the direction for projects, campaigns, events and resources.
We are interested to hear your thoughts and ideas. Please complete this survey to help inform our new Sustainable Food Program.
